I have a visual quality oddity I wondered if any of you have noticed or have had...

After converting a movie on my laptop 13.3 screen it looks great, however, when I stream it to my Xbox it takes on odd hue's and the the shadows are more subdued or just plain black.

So, I'm thinking its either my Xbox, my TV, or just that its easier to notice the quality problems at 42" vs 13.3" lol.

I ordered a cable so that my macbook could hook directly into the TV and bypass the Xbox, that would help me rule out at least that possibility. But until it gets here I'm just left wondering, so I thought I'd ask you guys what you think.

Just in case you were wondering i've tried the same movie in the universal preset, the Xbox preset at constant rate and set size. All movies "looked" exactly the same when viewed on the TV.

It sounds like there is a little bit of compression going on, or else the settings on your TV are just different than your laptop screen.
