So I signed up for xcloud/gamepass ultimate $1/first month to check it out on my M1 macbook air. I picked up a PS5 DualSense controller. It works on some games but not others. Anyone else done this on the M1, and what controller are you using? and did you need to do anthing special other than just connect it to bluetooth?

Its browser based so it shouldnt matter if its an m1, intel, or amd. That said it works fine on my m1 air with an xbox series x controller

Are you able to verify that id software’s games, Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, as well as Machine Games’ Wolfenstein series are there?
are you using a usb-c ethernet adapter or wi-fi? I have good wi-fi but I seem to get a lot of stuttering.
I will check and report back. I have been most displeased with the stuttering. it is not as smooth as GeForce.
ah... I was not aware of the hardware involved. yeah I am definitely cancelling the xbox game pass .. they can keep the $1
MS has switched over to using an Xbox Series X instead of a 1X for xCloud. The other side of the coin is you don't have to own the game to play it on xCloud either.
the game selection is tasty but the past two days have been stutterfests. hardly worth $15/month and the cost of a DualSense controller.
Ew I wouldn't pay more for a Dual Sense for xCloud. 0 of the games will take advantage of the Dual Sense features (unless it is the PC version of the game that is also on PS5 but even then I wouldn't count on it).
I would have taken the wait and see approach with respect to developers actually using the features to make the DS worth paying extra for, if I didn't already have a PS5.
meh I returned it today. the whole xcloud thing is a cluster. geforce has 10+ of my games and I can use a keyboard and mouse. I am content.
