Now everyone with Xcode will be able to build fat binaries with ARM support for the Mac. I was able to build a Catalyst App and a regular AppKit application. Can't run them of course. mfram Contributor Jan 23, 2010 1,382 435 San Diego, CA USA Nov 13, 2020 #2 I was able to build my personal Mac apps as Universal binaries, no problem. Just a re-compile. Will test them on an M1 machine eventually when I get one. The .app bundle increased in size by about 50%. But I have pretty simple apps.
