Xcode 4.2 Update restarts instead of resumes

Hi

I just dwonloaded 1.2 Gb of the 1.8 Gb Xcode 4.2 update via the App Store update tab.

I paused the download as I had to have the connection for an FTP connection for a few minutes.

While the update was paused my connection died. I reconnected and went back to the app store and the update page said Xcode was installed and then it changed to Update.

Clicking Update showed that the update was starting from the beginning again.

Is there somewhere else I can download this update so that I am able to resume it correctly if its stopped for connection reasons?

Cant unsderstand why the App Store doesn't do resumes after a disconnect.

any help in this regard would be a great help.

Restarted without pausing

It took 40 minutes to download and I didn't pause. Now it has started from the beginning, another 40 minutes...
