Xcode 8 no longer allows a Deployment target of below iOS 8.0. That means one can no longer build apps that can run on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 devices (unless you keep an old Xcode version around).

The Xcode 8 GM also removes the beta of Swift Playgrounds from iPads.

It also removes the Projects menu item. If you need to delete the derived data you need to find the folder and find your project's folder. Preferences > Locations > there's an arrow for the Derived Data folder.
