iOS Xcode active SDK says unknown SDK 'iphoneos3.0'

Hey,

There is a course on itunes u from stanford on iphone programming so I've begun to follow along with it. However when I download projects from the course website and open the xcode project I get an error when trying to build and go. "error: There is no SDK with specified name or path 'Unknown Path'"

In the active sdk section it says Uknown SDK 'iphoneos3.0'

I'm a newbie to xcode so i dont really know whats going on
any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would guess you're trying to use the version of Xcode that came on your SnowLeopard installation DVD. If so it does not include the iPhone SDK.

You'll need to join Apples iPhone Developer Program. Everything you need to know can be found here!
