Hi,

Can anyone confirm if the full release of xcode 5 will work on mountain lion?

Thanks

Not on a public forum, no. You need to post these sorts of questions on Apple's beta forums. Discussing this stuff in public is a violation of Apple's NDA.

OK thanks Duncan. Where can I find that forum then?

I was only asking as we are corporate and would like to know if I will put in a request for an OS update.

It's in the developer area, developer.apple.com.

Once you've logged in to the developer center, do a search on "forums"

The link is

https://devforums.apple.com/index.jspa

Not sure if that would work from outside the site however.

Send me a private message and maybe I can answer some questions offline.

I don't think you should make that offer:
1 - How do you know they're in the dev program?
2 - Now you're encouraging the use of PMs for questions that belong on forums (devforums.apple.com)

Its a shame that the first thought that comes to mind is that I'm using an illegal version. Just cause someone is pirating this info devs have to be punished and can't get a quick straight answer...

Of course he can't be sure if I am but I am... I appreciate his input - much easier than a mod closing my thread when I asked a genuine question

You should be able to get a quick straight answer, if you use the proper channels. Since Xcode 5 is still under NDA, that channel would be asking on the Apple Developer Forums. Many developers on this forum are leery to discuss it because they don't want to violate their NDA.

Cheers for that - i'll stick to the dev forums from now on. Is there an easy way to accesss via mobile?
