Hi,
I have started not long ago using Swift on XCode 8.2.1 I am using a late 2015 MBP 13 inches (base processor).
While XCode does a great job at analyzing syntax and finding errors I found it is very slow at refreshing and reporting errors correctly. It can take 2, 3, 4 seconds or more and my code base is small (a couple of hundred lines). I did some C programming in XCode prior and it was very fast -of course I realize that C as a much more simpler syntax-.
My questions are:
Is there options I can play with to alleviate the problem ?
Does the quad core Macs fare much better in this regard ?
Thank you
