iOS Xcode with wifi?

Hello,

I am new to Xcode.... and really a beginner.

I would like to ask if Xcode has the necessary API’s to connect to an external
Wifi chip on an electronic target PCB.

And once connected, does Xcode provide the necessary API functions to send and retrieve information to and from the wifi chip.

All feedback so much appreciated
