Kinda neat... I wanted to play around with disabling hyperthreading and cores used, so I found Xcode on my install disk for Snow Leopard. It installed and works fine. It even updates via Software Update.

What makes it interesting is that I'm on a 2009 Mac Pro that I updated to 5,1 firmware. I expected it to reject the install after updating the firmware, but it didn't. It makes me wonder if I can install Snow Leopard with this disk on a new harddrive with no issues. It's 10.6.2.

If you all knew that, sorry to be a bother... :p
