macOS Xcode3 and NSToolbar (n00b)

Hello,
i have a few questions about object NSToolbar:

1. how can I enable Image Toolbar Item for using it (I would like button Add in toolbar and not in window and I am using CoreData)? On default is disabled like item "Customize" in picture.
2. how can I add Search Field from window to toolbar?

OK. I am using binding for toolbar item "Customize", but the item is not enabled for clicking. how can I change this?
