Hey,
I just noticed the weirdest effect on my mac pro with XDR Display.
Was looking at an exported Quicktime video and suddenly noticed that a previously clean gradient looked like this:
instead of this:
I was playing around with some settings and reference modes and came to two conclusions. If the Display is in Rec709 HDTV reference mode, it doesnt look so bad, but what's really causing this issue seems to be that i had my ipad pro hooked up via sidecar. As soon as I turned sidecar off, the bending disappeared.
Weird huh? And very frustrating because I was using the ipad as a waveform display in Davinci Resolve but with those artefacts it's of course not possible to use it properly.
