Just a heads up for xfinity mobile users. If you get a new phone you cannot just switch SIM cards, must have them do the transfer. They have to manually input new phone info into their system. Try it and it will lock up tight.

Can you expand on this please? I switched to Xfinity last year. Purchased the iPhone 12 Pro from Xfinity. Then added my wife (transferred her number from ATT) and used my unlocked Note 10 for her phone. I recently just purchased her a used iPhone XS and plan on moving her sim from Note 10 to XS. This is until I find some good deals on an iPhone 12/13 for her around Thanksgiving. So are you saying that I can't just move her sim from Note 10 to XS? Thanks

I just came from my local Xfinity store and it is a new system update. They have to input the new phone ‘s IMIE# manually. Kinda crazy!

Ok thanks - that sucks. XS arrives on Saturday so now I need to take her phone and spend time getting this done at a store instead of just putting a sim.
