Xilisoft or other for video joining

Greetings -

I swap clips of driving and cycling events and would like to be able to merge several clips into 1 larger file. After searching for an OS/X compatible solution, I found Xilisoft and a few other programs. Any comments on the Xilisoft product? Other suggestions?
