.xom typo automatically fixes to .com in Safari

Safari autofix .xom to .com in URL bar even if I mistyped on purpose. (youtube.xom -> youtube.com, etc.)
I found that this works in iOS, iPadOS, and macOS (not confirmed on other devices).

Is this convenient feature new in iOS 26? Or has it existed in previous versions?
