Basically i wanna buy a new USB stick, i got an only 1GB stick and it wont work for both bootcamp (xp) and osx, i formatted it for OSX and then xp doesnt regnise it.

I want a 16GB stick, ive norrowed it down to 2 popular ones:

SanDisk Cruzer Micro 16 GB

Corsair Flash Voyager 16 GB

Any advice on how good these are at switching between two OSs as well as general advice, read/write speeds etc... cheers

If you format any USB drive to FAT32 it can be read/write by either OS.
Rule of thumb:
HFS+ is Mac only.
NTFS is Windows Read/Write, and Mac Read only.

why'd you format your flash drive?

Any flash drive should work with both OS's out of the box, shouldn't it?
