XP can overheat Mac computers?!

i read in some article that there is no driver for the fan while running under Windows and this can cause over heating of the processor..

if this is true screw XP...

or maybe some of our brillian co-mac users can make an application or modification on how can this problem can be solve...

I imagine that without diver control the fans would ramp up to max speed and stay there. No danger of overheating, just loud and annoying. It might be possible for someone who knows how to write Windows drivers to write a driver for this...

Yeah, the article you read refers to this site as the source of this. It's understood it gets really hot, yet not understood if that is bad.
