XP in fusion 2 won't shut down

All of a sudden out of nowhere, my screen says "Windows XP is shutting down" and is frozen there. I didn't shut down and I can't get it to either restart or respond to ctrl-alt-del. Just frozen there. I've restarted the VM and the iMac and no change. Fusion has been spotless till now. Any ideas how to unfreeze this?

Edit: Sorry. It's version 3.13.
