If I load xp with bootcamp and want to upgrade later, am I able to load another program like parallel and will the program recognize it? Or do I need to run another install of the OS? Thanks for the help. I'm a newbie to macs:)

So are you asking if you can run your Boot Camp installation in Parallels?

If so, then yes.
Sorry for not being clear. I have a copy of xp and bootcamp preloaded on my mac. Could I load xp now and when I get a copy Fusion 3 when it comes out and just load Fusion and have it run the os side by side? Or do I need to reload xp as well? The xp copy I have only allows one instal. Thanks:eek:

parallels and fusion

you could install xp in your bootcamp partition and both parallels and fusion 3 will prompt you to load your bootcamp partition first without installing xp again
