I'm just getting into Quark Xpress 7 and I'm having issues with it. Most notably, when it comes to saving. If I open a file for adapting (say an ad which needs re-sizing), when I save as and call the file by its new name, the filename takes the format of newfilename
ldfilename.
And then, when I export it as a pdf file, it reverts back to the old filename, just with .pdf on the end of it. Then there have been times where I've just saved (as opposed to save as) the file, only to try looking for it later and find it has been renamed and called 'project 1' - scary.
Is this a standard/common thing and are there ways around this stupid, stupid convention. I've come from 4.1 which is a dream to use in comparison...
