Do you use zoomed or standard mode? I found that zoomed mode makes text a bit larger and easier to read and that’s is nice, but then you will also loose stuff like the benefit of having two panes in the calendar when viewing it in landscape mode.
You change it under Display & Brightness -> Display zoom (at the bottom)
