iPhone XS XS display has more contrast and a blue tint after 12.1

Maybe the fix from 12.0? My iPhone X experienced the washed out colors after the initial 12.0 update.

Frankly, I don’t understand how the X and now XS have gotten such praise for their oh-so-amazing screens when they have such horrible blue tint when angled.

Not sure about contrast, but I definitely thought I noticed that the yellow tint of the display became more neutral after updating to 12.1.

I was comparing with my wife's Xr and the overall tone was much whiter on her phone when I compared the two. It seems to be less so now. Thing is, it's still whiter overall than my Xs...and that kind of bothers me.
