With my 6S+ I noticed that if I adjust the "sunshine" (brightness) upwards within the camera app I'll get a corresponding "real time" view of how bright the picture will look if I take it.

Since I've gotten the XS Max, I can't get this to work reliably. Instead, I have to basically move the sun "up" to a level I think will be appropriate, take the picture, and hope for the best. The photo itself will not match the brightness in the viewer.

Oddly, it works better when "decreasing" the brightness of the photo. I'm thinking there is something that limits the amount of brightness the app will display, perhaps due to the preset brightness of the phone screen itself.

Anyone else with this issue?
