Apple changed a faulty screen on my XS MAX (phone not damaged). Ever since the change although I get 4G signal the phone works on and off with 4G. WiFi is fine.

I’ve had the phone for 10 months without a problem.

Reset network settings has not fixed it.

Took it to Apple and got the runaround (change the SIM card (it’s an esim). Restore the phone etc etc.)

Before I go back to Apple does anybody know what could have happened. If there’s a fix or any other advice.

Thanks in advance.

I would bring it in again. Sounds like faulty hardware, I’ve replaced my XS Max twice since I bought it due to reception, screen, and volume button issues.

For future trips to the Apple Store, I would try their default advice ahead of time to save on a trip and get it replaced on the first trip.
