A little backround.
I just got a new battery in my old 6 and let it sit on my desk a few days. It does not have a sim card in it, wifi only and a restored encrypted backup of my iPhone 7. Since tuesday it has gone down about %50 in 5 days per apple's specifications of 10 days of stand by.

My iPhone 7 on the other hand is a complete joke. No way it would last over night at %100 in stand by without going down 2/3.

So I took the opportunity with my new XS to sign into the phone a couple times for setup:
1. Signed in with iCloud and setup manually, so I could simply make sure it signed into my account and experience face id setup and so on.

2. DFU mode. Restored the operating system, which pull's a new copy from apple's server and erases the phone. Then restored from the iPhone 7's encrypted backup.

I did this at about 7pm EST and used the phone, plugged into my mac as well as unplugged. At 11pm went to bed. The Xs was still at %100 after sitting 5 on my night stand in stand by at 4:45. Amazing.

Real or paranoid. Is that Xs battery "that" much better?

I thought I would share. Erasing my 7 and restoring with DFU now.
