Other Xs & Xs Max Gold: Is it Gold, Rose Gold, or Pink?

Some people are complaining their new gold Xs and Xs Max iPhones are not really gold coloured, but look more pink. What do you think?

I love it. It’s like the iPhone 8 gold but a slight more dark. It’s not gold like the 6 or 7 series and it’s definitely not like the pink/rose gold.

The iPhone 8 looked more pinkish than the XS

The back is pearl beige in some lights and rose gold in others.. the band is more of a yellow gold but you can see a tint of rose in lower light. It's really a chameleon.

it's a beige gold and it's gorgeous! had i seen it in person before ordering, i would have ordered it!

The most ideal word I can come up with that best match the colour would be: Satin

I would call the sides rose gold and the back butterscotch. Not my favorite.

I am really happy with the color. I would say it is definitely more of a copper or bronze gold. The back glass has an amazing shimmer to it in the right light. Very happy with this choice - don't want to cover it up with a case now...

The stainless steel is fine, it's actually a very subtle gold. the glass back on the other hand....definitely pinkish, I wouldn't call it rose gold but it's pinkish FOR SURE

The answer would be "none of the above" It is a dark gold, almost bronze gold color. I just realized that this is first iPhone with a black screen and black band and back. All of the prior gold phones featured a white front. Anyway, it really works. So glad I took the chance sight unseen (at least in real life) to order it.

I love the color, the back is nice but the stainless steel part is so beautiful, it’s more like a copper which looks amazing.

I held my new gold watch next to my Series 1 rose gold watch. They look almost the same color

I finally saw them in person. To me, the colour is a cross between rose gold and copper, for the glass back.

It's all of them! Depending on the light, angle and reflections it can vary between pink-tinted white to rose gold to looking like a brick of gold.
