Xserve + Motu + TCPowercore FW ?

Hi guys, do you think there is any logic in buying Xserve as a mobile DAW centerpiece? I know it is not as flexible as a G5 but it is faster than G4 notebook... innit? I was thinking of buying a Dual G5 Xserve, a FW Motu interface (or metric halo i/o) and a couple of TC Powercores.. Will there be enough bandwidth in FW interface to keep them all running smoothly?
