Hi, I just bought a 2008 Xserve and Xserve RAID on eBay. Got it all set up and installed with Yosemite. But when I created a JBOD array in the RAID Admin, it's not showing up on my Xserve at all. It's all set up, just nothing to copy data to! Both ends show Fibre Channel link established with Point-To-Point, however no volumes are in Disk Utility. I have restarted both devices multiple times, I've tried using "Automatic" which does Arbitrated Loop, but none have helped in the slightest. I even tried putting the FC card in my 2010 Mac Pro (also running Yosemite 10.10.3), and nothing showed up there either. I'm sure it's a simple error on my part that I have yet to discover, but for now it's extremely frustrating.

Thanks in advance!

Attached are screen shots of what I see.

I think I figured it out. Was not only affecting Yosemite, but also Lion. So not an OS-specific issue. I think it might be the fibre channel card. I seem to have the same issue as here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6770229
My fibre channel card has the exact same model and firmware version.

I just ordered a different one with H3-25077-01D part number off eBay for $15, so I'll give that a shot when I get it.
