Looking around on ebay, I noticed that old xserves going really quite cheap. So my question is what to stop me using a couple as a render farm for Cinema 4D etc?
These are 2008 8-core machines going for ~299GBP's.
Not that fast, but very cheap....could even upgrade the CPU if need be.
