Hi Chaps,
Wonder if anyone can help me out, I manage several networks which have Mac and Windows machines.
I'm having trouble with the mac's on the network, now they do talk directly with the xserve which links directly with the OU structure on server 2003 domain controllers.
When users log on their home areas are smb mapped to their individual home areas on our file server (member server running s2k3).
When users are running garageband they frequently have the machines timeout and require rebooting. The iMac's completely stop responding, no mouse activity nothing.
This happens when users are working on documents directly on their smb shared areas.
Any ideas as to why this is causing machines to stop responding?
Thanks,
J
