Now apple offer the Xserves with 10.000 rpm drives at 74GB up to 3 of those drives and 1 and 2.

Well this is good news.......now what about the PowerMac's

Well knowing Apple they would probably charge $250+ for a Raptor as a BTO in the PowerMac one is better off just buying a Raptor aftermarket. I suppose they offered Raptors in Xserve because there was large demand but at the price they charge one could still buy aftermarket Raptors and make them work with the removable drive bays assuming this can be easily done.

Well the reason I said so, is because it would be easier to have it has a boot-drive.......rather than switching when you got it.......well low price would be nice 🙄 They want 300 buck for it 🙁
