) would be a good choice. Anandtech did a comparison, and the XServes got absolutely slaughtered in multiuser performance. Much of that was attributed to OSX's thread processing with the kernel, but a rewrite around the intel chip presents an opportunity to fix that some, maybe. Oracle said they programmed around the OSX Server problems to get acceptable performance.
