Does anyone use xSlimmer? Would anyone recommend/not recommend based on any experiences? I am trying to decide whether it is a worthwhile purchase and wanted some feedback (I have already used the demo BTW). Thanks.

It's a decent app that I've heard little problems about. As with anything destructive, be wary, but overall the experiences relayed to me regarding Xslimmer have all been positive.

Whether to buy the app, however, is purely up to you. It's only $12...is it worth $12 to you?

Its great! Saved me 1.38GB when I really needed it :)

The latest versions have a 'blacklist', so only 'slim' the apps that it won't cause trouble with :)

Here is an automator script that does basically the same thing. No "Blacklist" or Backup, but it keeps the original app anyways so you can try it out, or keep a backup copy of it. It should work at least for intel, but I am sure a quick modification could make it work for either.
