Which do you prefer and why?

Is there anything better about xslimmer or trimmit? I understand Trimmit is free, but so is Xslimmer if you do the macheist missions. Is there any difference in how they go about "trimming" the apps? With that said, this is what I know of the two programs so far:

Xslimmer
- Genie option to scan your entire computer for apps to be trimmed

Trimmit
- Allows for further compression of tiffs

I've heard people stating they've seen performance increase in load times after "trimming" their apps. Anyone else seen similar gains? I'm not so concerned about saving disk space but more in it for the performance improvement.

My apps (especially Apple made ones) certainly do launch faster, and (important for me on my laptop) take up much less space.

Oh, I prefer XSlimmer myself.
