Xtand + Case

Hey everyone,

I just have a quick question - I was looking at purchasing the Xtand for my iPhone 3G, but I already have a (pretty thick) silicone case which I would like to keep.

To anybody who used this stand before, is it possible to use it with the iPhone in its case? I've read that you can take off the rubber holders on the side, but won't this cause some instability with the phone itself? (won't the phone fall off?)

It looks like a great stand, but removing the case defeats the ease of use.

It's great! Looks perfect fit with my iPhone 3G.
I don't have any iPhone case. Accroding to my experance, it wont scrach the
iphone. I did'nt use any case to cover my iphone.

I wish they would create this with adjustable clamp for the phone. Most people are using some sort of case on their phone.
