Anyone plan on checking out this bad boy? I'm thinking about it. I believe length is 22" and pricing will be in the low $100s. I am not sure if it will sold in the US, but could get it some other way.

Hmmm...now I'm thinking of getting a new shaver, too.

(It's actually funny you should post something like this...I do shave in front of my iMac with an electric razor.)

Would look good under a Dell Monitor but not an iMac

I actually think it matches an iMac quite well, but my interest is more functional than aesthetic anyways. I've been looking for a low-profile speaker system that delivers acceptable sound quality but is as out-of-the way as possible. Mini soundbars fit this bill, but most of them are fairly low in sonic performance. This one looks like it's designed for performance to at least some degree, and is also pretty much the perfect size and shape for what I'm trying to accomplish. I'll post a review for anyone who is interested.

Grabbed another pic...this doesn't look nice? It was designed for the iMac. Just the kind of low-key form factor I've been looking for, where someone might say, "Where's all that music coming from?" I guess to each their own. (I admit the knobbie thing on the end is unattractive...what is it, an adjustment knob, a tweeter?)

That's a volume knob. Well it doesn't look too bad actually, also I was exagerating a bit in my earlier post ;). But still, it kind of disrupts the iMac's presence in some way if you know what I mean.
Does it have a Subwoofer? If not, I don't know how much punch that thing has. Best you try it out in store or something...

cheers

I agree there, it does detract a bit from the clean computerish lines of the current iMacs, but I'm willing to accept the compromise if the product delivers on sound (most of the other mini SBs out there are really much uglier).

As far as speakers, it reportedly has "dual dome tweeters, midrange/bass drivers and passive radiators" for a total of 6 drivers. I don't think it has an integrated subwoofer, but it does have a sub-out port, and I already own a subwoofer, so I'm a perfect setup. It has a 10-watt amp, which should be enough, considering my ears will be less than 2 feet away in use.

so did you end up getting it? I am interested in something that can connect to my TB display via USB and there are not to many options

I haven't found many reviews on it though
