Xvid codec

I am trying to burn an .avi clip that I have to a DVD with the program Toast. However it says I'm missing the xvid codec. I was wondering where I can find this codec to play the video in Quicktime or burn it in Toast.

I found a site called xvidmovies, but wasn't sure if it was legit or not.

Nevermind, it appears Perian works.
