Could someone out there tell me how to install the new binaries with Xvid 1.0 b2 for Mplayer.

All I get is a Terminal script.

To get it running you need to copy the new mplayer utility to your previous MPlayer OS X 2.app file location:

/Applications/MPlayer OS X 2.app/ Contents/Resources/mplayer.app/Contents/MacOS/mplayer

It might be easier if you just DL this new version though which should have the changes already:

MPlayerOSX2b6.5.sit
