A company worth billions, on the leading edge of consumer technology and entertainment and over 45 years old, and - as I watch the most recent OS install process on my M2 - it occurs to me that Apple still has not grasped the concept of Time. Especially as it relates to download, prep and install of its products.

I appreciate that the Company often seems to be living in an alternative reality to the rest of us, but still...
