XXXXX uses a file type that is blocked from opening in this version

Hi All

new here so thanks in advance

I keep getting an Error in Office 2011 on my IMAC (see pic)

its becoming frustrating as it is happening more frequently now

its happening with most files in FINDER just wont let me open them

it also occurs when I try to open a word doc from the net

I have the latest updates and packs installed???

please advise

You may get better response to your thread with this tip.

Have you tried opening them by launching Word and clicking File > Open...?
