Y some photos will not sync

So i took some photos with iphone.. downloaded them using iphoto... and saved them into a folder... for some reason when I sync my pictures folder.. and therefore this new folder only 43 of those photos will sync the rest do not show up...

this may be happening with my other folders but this one is the most obvious...

ideas?
