Yahoo email unable to connect with iPhone (iOS 26)

Since Thursday, have been unable to receive Yahoo email to both my iPhones 17 (iOS 26.0.1) and wife's account on her iPhone Mini 13 (iOS 26.0.1). It does come in for my M1 MacBook Pro (macOS 26.0.1) email and on my wife's Acer running Windows 11. So looks like an iPhone thing. Any help?

Both Yahoo's app work, iPhones mail app does not. my iPhone icloud email account works fine.

iPhones mail app does not

No problem with Yahoo in the mail app here, on 26.1 b4.

No problems here either, am using 26.1 (no beta).

For iPhone 17 create a new app password in the settings of Yahoo mail. You go to security setting and create a new app password.
