Yahoo Mail App Issue

Im using an iPhone 5s with iOS 8.4 and I'm using the Yahoo mail app to access a second email account. My Inbox is only showing one week of emails and there is no sync setting in the app settings menu. My sent folder shows months of sent email messages but the inbox will only show the last week. Does any body know how I can increase the sync period for the Inbox on the Yahoo email app?
