iPod touch yahoo mail not working

when i try to add my yahoo account it says 'the username or password for 'apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com' is incorrect. It did work about a week ago but just stopped working. I have looked all over the internet for different ways of sorting this but none have worked. My ipod is jailbroken and running 4.1 (MB model), my youtube is working, my date and time is correct. i live in the uk,
any ideas?

have you changed your password lately? Delete account and add again, see if that helps.

i did change it a few days ago but that was just me trying another suggestion and it wasnt working before that so no that isnt the cause, and i have repeatedly deleted the accounts and restarted ipod but it doesnt work.
