At launch when I get an e-mail i get notified by a little vibration and a sound.

The thing is, is that I don't get the e-mail straight away now.

eg I get sent a e-mail at 2PM, I expect a notification on my iphone saying i got the e-mail. But I don't, I have to manually check my mail. Yes my push setting is ON. How do sort this?

Also on my ipod touch when i go into mail it automatically checks mail but on my iphone I have to press the check mail. Any way to change?

Yeah it seems as thought push aint working well with Yahoo.

Anyone else?

Could someone fill me in on this?

How did Yahoo mail work with the 1st phone and how is it different now?

I send an email from my computer and my iphone 3g receives it immediately. But when I send an email to another phone it takes a bit to receive.

Shouldn't I get a notification once I receive the email???

What I'm talking about is the "push" function.

Say like your phone is on sleep mode and you get an e-mail you get a notification just like as though you have a message.

What 'm trying to say is that mine it doesn't tell me its there unless I check manually.

Mine is the same way. The only way to know if I've gotten an email is by manually tapping the refresh on the lower left portion of the screen.

I just this minute got an e-mail pushed to me 1hr and 40mins late.

And 5 mins later i got one straight away.

Hmmm weird.
