Yahoo mail safe

I have a free yahoo email accout is it safe to use on the iPhone. Over 3g or edge ok but when I am in a wifi hotspot I'm not to sure.
I guess this same question could be asked about all

I have no idea what you mean by this.

To answer your other question: no, Yahoo mail (at least as it's set up via the iPhone's wizard) is not safe to use on any network where the data sent to/from your phone might be observed by a third party -- that includes all public WiFi hotspots, and any hotspots to which unknown parties (or known, untrusted parties) can connect.
