So like many people, i have used free Yahoo! mail for the majority of my life and after i converted to mac and wanted to add my 3 yahoo accounts to mail on my macbook. but whats this... i have to pay 20 buck a year, per account for this???

is there a way around this? or should i just start converting to another email provider? if so, which one?

If you want to send and receive, there's not much you can do.

I've been using MacFreePops. I just like being notified of mail coming in. I have yet to solve the outbox issue.

You need to create another email account (GMail works well) and put that as your outbox because MacFreePops cannot send anything, only receive. Anyways, MacFreePops is the way to go for that. Google how to set it up.

ya but has anyone else had a problem with Gmail? i think there servers are dropping messages
