Yahoo Password reset problems

Yes, I know Yahoo is a problem
It is no longer accepting my password.
Yahoo says reset the password, from their email per my contact to them
No matter how complicated and long (14 characters)
The site tells me it is weak and cannot be accepted.
I have done this work on Safari and Firefox so changing browsers is NOT
the answer
Anyone have any real solutions if there is one?

Are you using all of upper case, lower case, numbers, and special characters? 14 characters is pretty short... but I've yet to find a site that wouldn't accept a 14 character PW with multiple character types.

After six emails to yahoo, they sent me a password to use. I entered it
on line...then entered in apple mail under pref, accounts and it is NOT BEING ACCEPTED. Yahoo is a complete failure, that's why the stock is priced sooo low.

Nope...used Safari and Firefox latest edition.

I think they were down/ having problems yesterday.
When I tried to login it came up that my account had been cancelled due to inactivity????
However this morning it is all working.
