Yahoo says webcam is being used by another program

Hi. I am trying to use my sony digital 8 camcorder with yahoo. I tested out the camera with imovie and everything is fine. I quit imovie and start yahoo and it says it can't find a webcam or another program is using it. In preferences under video, it says that there are no sources and I should quit whatever program is using it. What am I doing wrong here?

Try logging out and log back in.
