So Yahoo announced a new service today... a podcast directory. Great right? Another outlet for this fantastic new medium... etc. Well, I'm not really thinking along these lines, I mean, doesn't the news end up sounding like just another packrat too late for the train? And try going to yahoo.com, search for podcasts. Can you find the new service? NO!! What a bunch of idiots.

2 cents...

It took me all of two seconds to find out where it was.

And, to me, it seems like a logical extension of a company whose primary business is a search engine.

Hey tobi,

The theme of my post wasn't to find out how fast or slow people are at finding things, but to note a lack of "connection" at Yahoo--in that they didn't advertise the new service on their main page, nor supply the page in search results. It's silly... create a new service and get media attention, but then make it hard for consumers to find it. It's a problem Apple doesn't have so much of.

Anyway, I'm glad you validated your own sense of self, and can think logically. It's a plus!
